The Share Time and Read Committee, part of the Howard County
Chamber of Commerce's Workforce and Readiness Committee, needs
volunteers from the business community to read with first- and second-
graders at the Dasher Green-Owen Brown School. An orientation will be
held at 2:45 p.m. today, and the program begins Tuesday. For more

The Volunteer Center Serving Howard County in cooperation with the
Community Emergency Response Network will hold an orientation about
disaster preparedness from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Elkridge Branch
