PARAMOUNT - Tony LoBue smiled as he watched his Scott's Signature
Series Santa Maria Style Seasoning being filled into bottles,
capped, labeled, checked for blemishes and finally packed into white
boxes that will be shipped from Paramount to a local Bristol Farms
grocery store.
By day's end, LoBue's manufacturing crew will create 350 cases of
his best-selling seasoning.
"Like poetry in motion," said the company owner, who began
creating his recipes in his Redondo Beach kitchen three decades ago.
For more than 20 years, LoBue has been mixing and packaging his
30 gourmet sauces, spices and marinades out of his Alondra Boulevard
building, one of six he rents.
