Cystic fibrosis patient Emma Millar has been put on the waiting
list for a double lung transplant - which could mean a new lease of
life.
The 27-year-old has been seriously ill in Derriford Hospital
since September last year, but the good news means she could be
allowed home after a transplant takes place.
Mrs Millar, who married her husband David at Derriford in
January, had a lung transplant assessment at a Middlesex hospital in
February.
She recently received her test results which say she is fit
enough to have a transplant.
Emma says she is delighted with the latest development.
She said: "I'm now on the transfer list for a double lung
transplant, which is great news.
"My heart is fine ...
