For almost a year and a half, Milly the Dinosaur has stood at the
intersection of Fifth and Locust streets in Downtown Evansville,
welcoming visitors to the Koch Family Children's Museum of
Evansville.
But until this week, the museum has not had any exhibits related
to dinosaurs. On Monday, the museum opened its newest exhibit, The
Dinosaur Dig.
To celebrate, the museum's executive director December Warren
deemed Friday Dino Day.
Children could make dinosaur art and dinosaur soap. But the
highlight of the day came in the afternoon when Don Miller, better
known as Magic Don by children, performed "The Incredible Dinosaur
Show" for 150 children and parents.
