Article: YOU ASKED FOR IT; FRENCH SILK PIE

Janine Grassel, Greenfield, sent a recipe for French silk pie for Pat Woida, Greenfield, who lost a recipe that included eggs, butter, melted chocolate and sugar.

Grassel wrote: "The recipe Pat Woida is looking for is one I make quite often except I call it 'cardiac bypass pie' because of the ingredients. I use any kind of crust, my own or one purchased from the store. The recipe was actually found years ago by my son in an old Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. This pie always brings out the oohs and aaahs whenever served."
