Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Pete Drewett believes the desire
shown by seven players to commit their future to the National One
club can help launch his team towards the Guinness Premiership next
season.
Fly-half Danny Gray, winger Josh Drauniniu and flanker Tom
Johnson have all extended their contracts with the Chiefs along with
scrum-half Richard Bolt and forwards Shane Kingsland, Sam Blythe and
Ben Moon.
The second-placed Chiefs are 22 points behind champions
Northampton Saints with two games remaining this season, but Drewett
says his players are capable of improving next season.
