When Darlington Borough Council's planning committee meets today,
to discuss the Quakers' plans for a [pounds]12m hotel and sporting
complex, it could potentially be deciding the future of the cash-
strapped football club. David Roberts reportsAT 1.30pm today,
Darlington Football Club will play the most important fixture in its
calendar.The contest will not be between 22 players and adjudicated
