YORK -- When an alarm sounded at a firehouse Saturday, Sen. Hillary
Rodham Clinton joined firefighters answering the call.
Clinton was at the firehouse for a news conference announcing her
efforts to monitor air quality at ground zero. The alarm sounded as
she stood in front of two fire trucks belonging to Engine 40 and
Ladder 35.
Firefighters jumped into action, and someone yelled to the
senator, "Do you want to ride with us?"
