Ask and you shall receive. Earlier this month, Pauline Dobson of
Torrance sought readers' help with her quest to replace a lost, back-
of-the-box recipe for a lemon pie. The recipe was different from
other pies, she said. It called for lemon juice and Jell-O lemon
pudding.
Vivian Ritchie of Torrance and Cleo Donnelly of Hawthorne wrote
in, recommending the same treasured recipe for Lemon Party Meringue
Pie. Madeleine Salak of San Pedro recommended a Jell-O recipe for
Lemon Pie Deluxe -- slightlydifferent from the other recipe.
"Could this be the missing lemon pie recipe for Pauline Dobson,"
wrote Ritchie, who owns a few Jell-O recipe books. The recipe is from
