The Carson boys basketball team struggled all season from the free- throw line, making a Shaquille O'Neal-like 57 percent.

Carson coach Richard Masson said he canpinpoint games he lost solely on his team's free-throw woes. And he knew if the trend continued in the playoffs, the Colts would not last long.
