Jackson has criticism for refs following Game 2 loss
Timing is everything to Phil Jackson.
The Lakers coach, takingfull advantage of a day of rest for the
combatants in the Western Conference finals, got a little combative
when talking about the officiating in Sacramento's 96-90 victoryover
the Lakers on Monday night in Game 2.
With Game 3 not until Friday, Tuesday was as good a time as any
for Jackson to make his true feelings known, after taking the high
road on Monday. Perhaps he knew complaints would merely be footnotes
to the Kings tying the series, 1-1, and ending the Lakers' 12-game
road playoff winning streak in the process.
