Cooking class fills South Bay craving
CHEZ MELANGE: Chefsat popular restaurant and Cookin' Stuff
offering hands-on instruction in Redondo Beach.
Chef Robert Bell has gone into supermarkets wearing his chef
jacket and looking for a cut of meat while store customers line up to
ask him questions.
That's fine with Bell, who is planning to share his expertise with
a larger audience.
Bell and businesspartner Michael Franks are opening what they say
is the first completely hands-on cooking school in the SouthBay in
their Redondo Beach restaurant, Chez Melange. The two held the first
class Thursday.
Chez Melange has been anarea favorite since it opened in 1982 and
