Hahn names revitalization panel
With the waterfront promenade approved and the pace picking up in
local redevelopmentplans, a newly appointed task force is being asked
to connect all the pieces for an overall revitalization plan.
Appointed by Los Angeles City Councilwoman Janice Hahn, the 10-
member Downtown Waterfront Task Force will be charged with
coordinating plans for the community's revamped waterfront with the
historic downtown district.
"The councilwoman's goal is not only to work toward the
revitalization of the waterfront, but to also approach it in a way
that thereis a comprehensive effort with downtown San Pedro as
