Oscar De La Hoya did more than just revitalize his stagnant boxing career when he stopped Fernando Vargas in the 11th round of their eagerly awaited showdown Saturday night in Las Vegas.

The Golden Boy did more than just set up two or three more monster pay-per-view fights when he ended up the last man standing in that "Who is mas Mexican?" grudge match.
