Five days is enough time to strike deal
Five days and counting.
Five days before the baseball union calls a strike if it doesn't
get a labor agreement to its liking. Five days before baseball's
version of Armageddon, which is close towhat the strike would become
if the owners elect to play hardball and end the season rather than
cave in to the players' demands.
Five days is all that's left for union leaderDonald Fehr to
realize that this is not the time to quibbleover small details. Five
