Q: Former sports anchor
I'm wondering what happened to Bill Weir, the sports anchor from
Channel 7. He was gone when we came back from summer vacation. He's
nowhere to be seen on TV. When you get used to having someone come
into your home every day . . . it's really a mystery.

Bill Weir left KABC Aug. 16 to pursue other interests, according
to the Associated Press Television and Radio Association of
California-Nevada.
Weir filmed a sports talk show pilot for the USA Network, produced
by Lorne Michaels' company, Broadway Video. The pilot was not picked
up, according to the Chicago Media Examiner.
