Conventional wisdom says that Davidson has about the same chance
of making the Final Four as Antioch College has of filling its dorms
this fall. But with Stephen Curry, who knows? Davidson is not George
Mason -- it's a lot smaller and plays in a weaker conference. And
does anyone besides the UD football team know where the campus is
located? (UD and Davidson play in the Pioneer League.)
The first pitch: It just won't be the same on Opening Day without
Eric Milton, Mike Stanton, Rheal Cormier and Gary Majewski to kick
around. We could relate to those lovable losers. "Hey, I can walk
three and give up five runs an inning," your normal Reds fan might
say.
