Everyone likes doughnuts. Right?

The Kempf family of Evansville must be wondering what meteorologists have against the sweets.

The nasty weather conditions that the weather folks have been shelling out for weeks now have put on hold the completion of the Kempfs' new Donut Bank Bakery & Coffee Shop, located off the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and U.S. 41.

According to the company's initial plans, the 55-seat store with drive-through service was to open in early March, barring unfavorable weather for completing the construction.

Well, guess what? The new store still is not open due to those unfavorable weather conditions that have repeatedly cropped up.
