Ann Scurfield, Let's have a vote on all decisions! Points of
view, March 31, put forward all the specious reasons that this
Government has given as to why we should not have the promised
referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.
Please note this, Ann, this Government, in its manifesto,
promised - yes promised - the people of this country a referendum on
this treaty, which is exactly the same as the old constitution
except that it's worded differently.
All the other member states regard this as being exactly the same
as the old constitution.
So all people are asking is for the Government to keep its word
