Kiwanis Club of San Pedro and the crew of Comcast Cable
Communications Inc., Jean Carpenter, Gary Cox, Teresa Estabrook, Rob
Meyer, Pablo Cadena and Erik Odem.
All of them played an important role in getting the San Pedro
Chamber of Commerce's flagpole repainted this past month. Meyer made
numerous phone calls on behalf of the chamber over many weeks in an
effort to recruit the assistance of someone with a bucket truck. In
spite of many rejections, Meyer refused to be discouraged, and his
tenacity finally paid off when he contacted Comcast.
Carpenter and Cox spent more than two weeks clearing the proposed
project with Comcast ...
