The matchup between El Segundo and host St. Monica could be
ascribed a host of different adjectives. Pretty, however, isn't one
of them.
El Segundo accumulated nearly 160 yards in penalties and turned
the ball over seven times in a 42-15 nonleague loss Saturday to St.
Monica at St. Bernard.
"That's the great thing about film, that you can see where you
made your mistakes," El Segundo coach Steve Shevlin said. "We missed
a lot of big opportunities; we had some chances to capitalize and
couldn't."
