Paul Dalglish's pair of goals inside 11 minutes Sunday, which set
up Houston's eventual 3-1 win over the Colorado Rapids, did more than
propel the Dynamo to the MLS Cup final this weekend against the New
England Revolution.
It also underlined the dearth of big-name stars in the league
capable of single-handedly turning a game.
No one will ever mistake the 29-year-old Dalglish for Kenny
Dalglish, his renowned father who was an icon at Celtic and
Liverpool.
Indeed, Paul Dalglish began his career with those two clubs as
well, but in more recent years has plied his trade in such soccer
