Q: Opting out of credit card offers
Do you have any information on who I could contact to specifically
stop credit card offers? I probably get three or four a day in the
mail. It seems like a ridiculous amount of junk mail and I'd like to
get it turned off. We've got the turn off on the other solicitations
and junk mail but the credit card offers just keep on coming.

The toll-free line, required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act,
allows people to opt out of preapproved credit lists compiled by the
four major credit bureaus -- Equifax, Experian, Innovis and
TransUnion.
People can choose to remove their names from these lists for two ...
