Appraisers will cullprizes out of junk

Find out how much it's worth at an antiques appraisal from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Muller House, 1542 S. Beacon St., San Pedro. The event benefits the San Pedro Bay Historical Society. Cost is $5 per item.

Specialists will be on hand to appraise folk and ethnic art items, including American Indian crafts; American art pottery, tools, kitchen and household items; antique and vintage jewelry; military artifacts; general antiques including glassware; and vintage dolls.

A silent auction will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Food is available.
