sleepy Louisiana town, ends up as one heck of a blockbuster murder
mystery in White Hot.
Author Sandra Brown makes every small detail count, in her tale
about a corrupt Southern family on the verge of finally paying the
piper his due.
The rather fitting name of Destiny, La., is the setting for Hoyle
Enterprises, an iron pipe casting company that's proudly kept out
union organizers and government inspectors for decades, even though
the plant is unsafe.
The baby of the family, Danny Hoyle, has just been found in a
bayou fishing retreat with his head blown off. An observant young
