Article: YWCA fund-raiser will serve up plenty of food, wine and song

The sound of music will circulate through the South Coast Botanic Garden at 3:30 p.m. Sunday during the Third Annual International Festival to benefit the YWCA of the Harbor Area and South Bay.

Throughout the afternoon guests will enjoy performances by the Mariachis of Guadalajara, Prairie Fire and the North Torrance High School Steel Drum Band while sampling the "15 Top Summer Wines" presented by Whole Foods, Torrance; Classic Wines of California; and Bacchus Wine Made Simple.

An eclectic mix of appetizers will accompany the tasting, followed by a buffet dinner featuring pastas, paella, Mexican dishes and other international cuisine. The dinner will be catered by Tallichet's in Lunada Bay, ...
