Q: Beverage container recycling
Where can I recycle my bottles and cans and have an attendant
weigh them and pay me? I don't like having to insert them one at a
time in a machine. Ralphs supermarket used to have an attendant but
doesn't anymore.

Recycling Hotline at 800-RECYCLE or visit its Web site at
www.bottlesandcans.com. Both provide the address and phone numbers
for locations, mostly near supermarkets. The toll-free phone line
also indicates whether a location is staffed.
