CHEYENNE -- Traveling here from seven states, 350 World Changers
set out Monday to change this small part of the world.
By Friday, they will have made improvements to 30 homes in
Cheyenne. Tasks include putting on new siding and roofs, installing
new windows and doors, and adding a porch or two.
J.J Leaper, 15, from Sentinel, Okla., said this is the first time
he's worked with the World Changers.
Leaper said he joined the group "to work on houses for people who
can't do it themselves, and witness to them about Christ."
This marks the second year World Changers, a student initiative of
the North American Mission Board, has come to Cheyenne.
