Article: BUSING FOR 'ZERO HOUR' CLASSES DISTRICT'S DUTY -- PARENT

CHEYENNE -- A parent who lives east of town said Laramie County School District 1 should bus his daughter and other students to Cheyenne's East High in time for a 7 a.m. "zero hour" class.

Ron Bahre told the LCSD1 Board of Trustees on Monday that the school district has the responsibility for busing students to the early class. The district does not bus them now.

Bahre and his family live 11 miles east of town. He said he's been told by LCSD1 officials that the district has a policy not to bus students to these classes.
