CHEYENNE - Bearing arms might be easier in Wyoming if some law enforcers-turned-lawmakers have their way. And that's alarming to two police organizations in the state.

House Bill 78, a measure allowing citizens who have lived here at least 90 days to carry a concealed weapon without a permit, passed the House on third reading Friday morning.

The bill was approved on a 37-23 vote, and it now is headed for the Senate. You might think officers and lawmakers would be on the same side with this one, but they're not.
