CHEYENNE - Bringing in a junior-college offensive lineman was a
priority for the University of Wyoming in its 2006 recruiting class.
The Cowboys had their guy - and then lost him a week before
signing day.
Sir Aaron Mason (6-foot-6, 270 pounds) reneged on his verbal
commitment to UW earlier this week and committed to the University of
Colorado.
Efforts to reach Mason were unsuccessful.
College coaches are prohibited from talking about recruits to the
media until they have signed their national letters of intent. The
first day players can sign is a week from today.
