CHEYENNE - A new logging plan for the Devils Gate area of southwest Medicine Bow National Forest will reduce the amount of clear-cutting in favor of salvage of beetle infested trees.

Logging in general and clear-cutting in particular have been criticized by the Biodiversity Conservation Alliance for disrupting habitat of animals that need large tracts of undisturbed forest.
