CHEYENNE - If Alberta, Canada can be Wyoming, can Wyoming be
Missouri?
The state may get a chance to find out this summer if House Bill
127, a bill that would offer movie studios incentives to produce
films here, passes.
If that happens, said Michell Howard, manager of the Wyoming Film
Office, the odds will greatly increase that Tom Hanks and Julianne
Moore will be filming the Larry McMurtry Western "Boone's Lick" in
Wyoming - possibly near Torrington - by late summer.
"The incentive program would definitely help make this work,"
Howard said.
McMurtry also is the author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning and
