Political advisors show wide-ranging interests in development issues

BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese political advisors have indicated interests in a wide range of issues concerning social and economic development, as shown in the proposals submitted to the third annual session of the Tenth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), just came to a close here Saturday afternoon.

By 5 p.m. on March 8, some 1,990 political advisors, 86.75 percent of the total of CPPCC National Committee members, had submitted 4,508 proposals to this year's CPPCC session.
