Vietnam to restructure state farms more vigorously

HANOI, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam will this year equitize and dissolve a large number of its state-owned agriculture and forestry farms which are facing huge losses, according to local newspaper Pioneer on Monday.

Some 15 percent of farms nationwide which have been loss-making for three straight years will be dissolved. Other farms which are operating ineffectively are to undergo equitization this year.
