BERNAMA launches Mandarin news service

KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (Xinhua) -- BERNAMA, the Malaysia National News Agency, Tuesday officially launched its Mandarin news and information service here.

Through the Mandarin news service, BERNAMA will be able to enhance its role as an important conduit for the government to disseminate information on its policies to the people, especially the Chinese- speaking community, said Ong Ka Ting, housing and local government minister, who officiated the launching of the service.
