Kenya sees 66 percent increase in tourism revenue in 2004

NAIROBI, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's tourism industry has earned 538 million US dollars in 2004, a 66 percent increase from the previous year, the Kenya Tourist Board (KTB) announced here Thursday.

The KTB attributed the boom to aggressive marketing it has embarked on in Asia which leads to higher visitor arrivals from Japan and China.
