Chinese trade union chief urges trade unions to stick to socialist road

BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese trade union chief Wang Zhaoguo said Monday that unswerving efforts must be made to ensure the country's trade unions develop on the socialist path with Chinese characteristics.

Wang Zhaoguo, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and president of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), made the remarks at a meeting commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the ACFTU.
