Japan stuns Universiade champ Chinese Taipei in Asian Championship

TAICANG, Jiangsu Province, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- Twice Asian
champion Japan upset newly-crowned world university games winner
Chinese Taipei 3-0 here Friday to gain its second win in a group B
match of 2005 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship.
Chinese Taipei, who won the title of 2005 Universiade at Izmir of
Turkey in early August, rallied from 1-4 down to 13-14, but Japan
answered with a 5-1 run to take the first set 25-22 and went on to
secure the next two sets 25-23 and 25-17.
