S. Korea overcome Chinese Taipei for Asian semi-final
TAICANG, Jiangsu Province, Sept.4 (Xinhua) -- South Korea pulled
off their fourth win in the Asian women's volleyball championship on
Sunday, defeating Chinese Taipei 3-0.
South Korea have taken one and a half hours to wrap up the victory
at the 12-team tournament 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.
Substitute Kim Min-Ji had the match-winning point at the left side
of the net with a powerful spike.
In front of thousands of boisterous home fans, Chinese Taipei took
charge from start of the first set 6-1 with Liu Li Fang and Kou Nai
Han providing a standout performance.
