City of New Orleans train attendant Charles Philson looks into the eyes of his passengers and sees music.

A New Orleans native, Philson will be working the celebrated Amtrak train Tuesday when it departs Union Station for singer- songwriter Arlo Guthrie's "Ridin' on the City of New Orleans" trip to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
