In 1985, Demi Moore was a fledgling actress who co-starred in "St. Elmo's Fire" -- a film about seven college graduates and their difficult transition into the real world.

Moore and some of her co-stars were quickly dubbed the Brat Pack - - twentysomething actors who often had little acting experience but snagged major roles playing spoiled twentysomething characters.

Director Joel Schumacher once described the movie as "a story about people just like you and me, only better looking."
