Saudi Arabia to benefit from WTO accession, minister says
HONG KONG, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- For Saudi Arabia, the importance of
accession to the WTO is to join the world trade system which will
benefit the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce and Industry
Hashim A. Yamani said here Sunday.
Saudi Arabia became the 149th member of the World Trade
Organization (WTO) on Dec. 11. It is the first time for Saudi Arabia
to attend the WTO Ministerial Conference in Hong Kong as a full
member. The week-long Conference will wind up later Sunday.
In an interview with Xinhua, Yamani said Saudi Arabia has made
economic infrastructure adjustments and economic system
