Fujian Province starts reconstruction work after Typhoon Longwang

FUZHOU, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- People in southeast China's Fujian Province have started their reconstruction work orderly after the conclusion of awesome Typhoon Longwang, which has claimed 15 lives and left 11 missing.

Longwang, which landed in Fujian Sunday night and swept over the province for ten hours, destroyed 5,500 houses, affected the normal life of 3.71 million people, forced 186 highways in the province to close and 2,125 enterprises to stop production.
