Vietnam prioritizes use of official development assistance

HANOI, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam will spend official development assistance (ODA) mainly on infrastructure improvement, electricity plant construction and poverty reduction in the next five years, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan said Tuesday.

The country will spend ODA on upgrading national roads, highways, belt roads in big urban areas, waterways, and building some new international airports, he said at the opening ceremony of the 13th Consultative Group Meeting.
