Hull: The city council has been asked to present its ideas on
improving children's services at a House of Lords hearing.
Hull City Council is one of six organisations invited to the
event.
The council's Top 700 Project was selected from 116 submissions
to Narrowing The Gap, a two-year programme to improve the lives of
vulnerable children and young people.
The Top 700 Project, which was set up last year by the council
and funded by One Hull, aims to improve school attendance and
outcomes for youngsters.
