Consecutive mishaps in East China Sea waters leave 3 dead, 11 more
missing
HANGZHOU, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Five separate cases of shipwreck
were reported in East China Sea waters as a result of advancing of
cold air fronts from Siberia, leaving three people dead and 11 more
missing.
All the casualties were from a cargo liner belonging to Xianfeng
(Pioneer) Shipping Company of Ningbo, a port city in east China's
Zhejiang Province, corporate sources said.
According to the sources, the cargo liner, loaded with steel
products and 15 sailors aboard, which was on its way to Quanzhou,
another port city of east China's Fujian Province, after it left
Tianjin, the largest port city in north China, ...
