Iran resumes uranium enrichment, TV reports

TEHRAN, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Iran resumed "peaceful" uranium enrichment work on Monday, a process which the West believes could be used to produce atom bomb material, state-run Iranian Television reported.

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of the Iranian national security and foreign relations committee in parliament, said that inspectors from the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) were present.
