Chinese swimmers dominate Asia championships
SINGAPORE, March 10 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese swimmers made another
haul of the gold medals on Friday, enlarging their golden collection
to 42 at the 7th Asia Swimming Championships since Sunday.
Of the day's seven finals, the Chinese swimmers won the top honors
in the men's 50m butterfly, 200m backstroke, 4x100m medley relay, and
women's 100m breaststroke, women's 200m butterfly and women's 200m
backstroke.
Only the women's 50m freestyle slipped from the hands of the
Chinese.
In the men's 50m butterfly, Zhou Jiawei finished first in 24.11.
Zhao Tao won the men's 200m individual medley in 2:01.10, his second
gold medal at the championships. ...
