Myanmar, India sign agreement on communication cooperation

YANGON, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar and India have signed here an agreement on communication to enhance the bilateral cooperation in the sector, official newspaper The New Light of Myanmar reported on Saturday.

The signing took place between the Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT) under the Ministry of Communications, Posts and Telegraphs and the Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) during Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam's state visit to Myanmar.
